Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

1. Service Description

MyDocSquad provides home doctor visits (house calls) across Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, and Putrajaya. Our doctors come to your home, office, or hotel to provide medical consultations, basic examinations, appropriate treatment, and referrals where needed.

2. What We Don't Do

MyDocSquad is not an emergency service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 999 or go to the nearest hospital emergency department immediately.

Our doctors cannot treat all conditions in a home setting. The following require a hospital or clinic:

  • Surgical procedures beyond minor wound management
  • Conditions requiring imaging (X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound)
  • Conditions requiring laboratory blood work with immediate results
  • Psychiatric emergencies or acute mental health crises
  • Obstetric emergencies
  • Severe trauma, fractures, or suspected spinal injuries
  • Chest pain, stroke symptoms, or difficulty breathing

If our doctor determines that your condition requires hospital-level care, they will advise you accordingly and assist with a referral.

3. Your Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your medical history, current symptoms, and allergies.
  • Ensure safe and reasonable access to your location. This includes a well-lit entrance, controlled pets, and a clean area for examination.
  • Be present and ready at the scheduled appointment time. If the visit is for someone else, ensure the patient is available.
  • Inform us before the visit if anyone at the location has a known infectious or communicable disease so our doctor can take appropriate precautions.
  • For patients under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must be present during the entire consultation.
  • Follow the treatment plan and medical advice provided by the doctor. Non-compliance is at your own risk.

4. Appointments & Cancellations

All bookings are confirmed via WhatsApp or phone. You will receive a confirmation message with your doctor's estimated arrival time.

If you need to cancel, please inform us at least 2 hours before your scheduled appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a cancellation fee.

We reserve the right to cancel or decline an appointment if the location is deemed unsafe for our medical staff, or if the patient's condition as described clearly requires emergency hospital care rather than a home visit.

6. Medical Decisions

Our doctors exercise independent professional judgment during every consultation. They may decline to provide a specific treatment if it is not clinically appropriate or justified.

All MyDocSquad doctors are registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) and hold a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).

7. Limitation of Liability

Medical treatment outcomes vary from person to person. We do not guarantee specific results from any consultation, treatment, or procedure.

MyDocSquad is not liable for adverse outcomes resulting from your failure to follow medical advice, provide accurate health information, or seek emergency care when advised to do so.

We are not liable for delays or failure to provide services caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, road closures, government restrictions, or pandemics.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
